The music was spirited and uplifting as the tone was set for the evening. Many could be seen tapping their feet, clapping their hands and swaying their heads in time to the rhythm.
The sermons were practical and even the children and teenagers were inspired to sit inside the tent and listen attentively. The messages were intriguing and caused many to do much soul- searching. For those of us acquainted with the fundamental doctrines of the Church, we saw those same old messages being presented in a new light.
Pastor Sturrup encouraged his listeners to live godly lives and challenged them to be a living witness by spreading the message, declaring wherever we go, we should be working for the Lord. In a world of trouble he reminded us that there is hope for a better tomorrow, and while we may not have some of the comforts of life now, there is hope for a better tomorrow, when the Saviour will put in His appearance bringing to a climax the present troubles of this world, and ushering in an unrivaled time of peace and prosperity.
Youth Crusade 2000 will long be remembered in the minds of many, and the life changing effect that it has had on the youth of the Bahamas Conference.
Pastor E. D. Clarke is privilege to lead the youth forces of the Conference and he is encouraging all young persons especially to play an active part in this summer's activities.
Today at 6 p.m. On-line With Christ Youth Crusade Rally will be held at the Hillview Church. All team members and interested persons are especially invited to attend.
Bible worker's meetings for this Youth Crusade will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 5:30 a.m. at the tent on Blue Hill Road. Sabbath celebrations will be held on August 5 and 12th

3. DO NOT TOUCH LOOSE OR DANGLING WIRES! Report them to the Bahamas Electricity Corporation or the nearest police station as soon as possible.
4. Report broken sewers or water mains directly to the Water and Sewerage Corporation as soon as possible.
5. DO NOT GO OUTSIDE BAREFOOTED! Avoid wearing open shoes and watch out for broken glass.
6. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO PLAY IN WATER! It may contain disease causing agents.
7. Watch out for fallen trees. Collect fallen branches and other debris. Pile them where they can be easily collected.
