Eight Weeks
to Wellness Recognized by Pan American Health Organization Dr.
Idamae Hanna, nutritionist, dietician, Health Ministries director of
the Bahamas Conference and the co-coordinator for Eight Weeks to
Wellness, was invited to attend a regional meeting of the Pan
American Health Organization (PAHO) in St Vincent, July 29 to August
3, 2007. During the meeting PAHO featured the Eight Weeks to
Wellness and it was recognize for its effectiveness and
comprehensive approach to wellness.

School After a summer of sleeping late or doing
things on your time, the alarm bell announcing the
first day of school can be a rude awakening. If you
are an anxious freshman or a confident senior,
heading back to school is a time of transition, new
classes, new teachers, new schedules, new friends
and a new social scene. It may help to remember you
are not alone; it is likely that other people have
similar feelings to you.
Love it or hate it, you have to go to school!

Hospital Visit The hospital is a place for cure
and healing of the body. We all at some time in life
will be there, whether to visit someone or be
hospitalized. Over the years, visiting the hospital
was casual and easy, but modern days have revealed
many obstacles and challenges. The hospital
administration has the authority to protect the
patients’ privacy.

Bible Bowl 20

Objectives: The Bible Bowl is to encourage the youth
of Inter-American Division to study the Word of God.
This will motivate them to study the prophetic
message, as stated in the Book of Isaiah.
Participants: Youth, between the ages 15 and 30, who
are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in
Inter-American Division territory.

Prayer Meeting at Breath of Life Church The
Breath of Life Church invite you to attend its All
Night Prayer Meeting beginning Sabbath, August 25,
2007 from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Concert in
Aide of Education The Hillview Church Education
Department in association with its AY Department
will present a grand gospel concert on August 18 at
6:00 p.m. at the church to aide its students. The
support of the Adventist community is solicited. A
love offering will be lifted.
