They Celebrate 55 Years

Phil and Jean Antonio will
be celebrating fifty years of marriage on Sabath, July 28, 2007. They
are active members of the Centreville Seventh-day Adventist Church, Nassau.
The have three children: Lynn Smith, Terri Rolle, and Raymond Antonio.

Knowles 1915 to 2007
Hezekiah
Knowles of Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera, The Bahamas, was buried on Sunday,
July 15, 2007, in Eluethera. He died on July 8, 2007. He was
92-year-old when he died. Brother Knowles was an outstanding member of the
Seventh-day Adventist Church and served as a lay leader for more that fifty
years. He became an Adventist in 1941 as a result of
evangelistic meetings in Eleuthera conducted by Pastor Melvin G. Nembhard.
He got married on July 15, 1937, seventh years ago. Left to mourn are his
wife, Valliemae and six children, forty-three grandchildren, fifty-five
great grandchildren.
Bahamian at Florida Conference

Bahamian and Certified Public Account (CPA), Elisa Tiffany M. Rahming, was
recently appointed Assistant Treasurer of the Florida Conference of
Seventh-day Adventists,
Orlando,
Florida. Elisa is a graduate of Bahamas Academy and Southern Adventist
University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting, in which she graduated
with high honors. In addition to being a CPA, Elisa earned an MBA degree
from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. Elisa is the daughter of
Edmund & Emily Rahming or South Andros, The Bahamas
Elisa loves reading,
traveling and community work (i.e. visiting the sick and shut-in at nursing
homes). Her favorite gems are “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall
into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces
patience…” James 1:2,3 and “Higher than the highest human thought can reach
is God’s ideal for His children…” by Ellen G. White. Please keep her in your
prayers as she continues to follow the Lord’s leading in her life.
