heart.” These words sound very profound and if taken literally, it
really is. Sadly, however to most of us this is just another cliché.

Achieves Conference Status. West Indies Union Conference now has
six conferences. The North Bahamas Region has progressed from
Mission to Conference status. This was announced by Pastor Patrick
Allen, President of West Indies Union Conference of Seventh-day
Adventists at Symposium 2008, held at the Northern Caribbean
University (NCU) on Saturday November 22, 2008.

We should ever remember that thanksgiving is the
fruit of true, willing obedience. The Lord is the
object of our worship, and to praise His holy name
shows respect for His efficiency. God says, "Whoso
offereth praise glorifieth me."

promotional event tomorrow evening, November 30,
2008 beginning at 6:00 at the Hillview Church.

Author Richard O’Ffill to Attend Dec. 10 Book
Display The Adventist Book and Nutrition Centre
will be holding a book display on Wednesday,
December 10 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. All items
store-wide will be on sale. There will also be a
joint prayer and praise service Wednesday evening at
Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church. In attendance
to speak and autograph books will be local and
international authors including Pastor Richard
O’Ffill
