Diane E. Jones: A trained
teacher by profession, I have been teaching for the past
sixteen-and-a-half years years. During those years of
teaching, through the help of Jesus, I was able to lead boys
and girls to Christ. I am a strong advocate of Christian
education and believe in not just teaching for now but for
eternity. I am married to Elder Gary Jones and together we
have three(3) wonderful children, Ree-Anne, Garron and
Deyonell. With the help of the almighty
God, conference officials, all the children's ministries
leaders, and the members at large of the various churches,
we will continue to meet the needs of our children for
nurture, fellowship, worship, stewardship, and outreach.

Diane E. Jones,
Director of Children's Ministries
The Department of Children's Ministries of the Bahamas
Conference is organized to promote and coordinate ministry
to the children of the church, as well as to involve
children in service to others. Christ's instruction to feed
the lambs provides the impetus for the church to meet the
needs of children for nurture, fellowship, worship,
stewardship, and outreach. Providing children with the
opportunity for participation, interaction, and leadership
in a variety of religious education settings gives them a
sense of inclusion as valued members of the church family,
leads them to Jesus, and teaches them to view life through a
Seventh-day Adventist perspective.

for Children

Our statement of
fundamental beliefs can be confusing to a kid.

fundamental belief 11 include “triumphed,”
“subjugated,” and “communing.” Now, thanks to
best-selling children's author Jerry D. Thomas, you
can share your beliefs using kid-friendly words even
small children can understand."
