Our previous record: On Friday May 30, 2003, Mark West broke his own world record by popping 10 balloons with one arrow.
The key to the record was that all 10 of the balloons were handheld by people.
The setting was the Carolina Conference's annual camp meetings at beautiful Lake Junaluska, located at the foot of the "Great Smokey Mountains", in the western part of North Carolina.
Assisted by Roberto and Bevi Henriquez, West's Archery team set out to break a record that was last set during the summer of 1999 in Central California's Yosemite National Park.
