Think

To think or not to think,
that is the question.

To think,
I must consider,
I must open my mind.
I must be receptive
to thoughts,
to ideas,
to challenges.

To not think,
my mind must stay closed,
my eyes shut to reality.
New ideas have no place,
in this lifeless world of
NOT THINKING.
The same old stuff,
boring,
stale.

I find it takes more energy not to have
an open mind,
an inquiring spirit,
because out there,
in the real world,
God made all creation,
to stir my mind,
to challenge my intellect,
to shake the cobwebs from my brain,
to dispel the staleness from my life.

All the life forces and energy that God
plants,
grants,
shares,
blesses,
us with,
are for the
stimulation and growth of this tree of life,
God graciously shares with all who will open their minds.

For all those with inquiring minds.
