Mother's Day

Everyday is Mother’s Day.
Sadly, we only tell you too few days “Happy Mother’s Day.”
It’s quite well known that mothers
Continually give of themselves
To their children – all their life.
Then they continue on with grandchildren as they come along.
The nurture and caring that only comes from a mother’s heart
Is quite enough to last a lifetime.

Then there are those who may not have children of their own.
They still nurture and care for little ones
In school,
In Sabbath School and
In the neighborhood.
Sharing the deep love that comes from the Savior,
It spills over in their contacts with the children of others.
Seeking to protect, shelter and care for the children of others,
Is indeed a gift and a great blessing.

So to all these mother’s in Israel
We give thanks on this special day.
May you be kept in God’s ever flowing love.
May you continue to be the blessing you now are.
You are truly lifted up assisting the work of angels.
Praying for the hurting and lost children in this world
You intercede against the powers of evil
That have set out to destroy all that is good and beautiful
In the children given to us by God.
Praise God for all the “mothers” we have been blessed with.
