Welcome! To Biblical Hospitality

Biblical Hospitality is based on Bible texts as examples.  The primary texts are: Acts 2:42 “The disciples were devoted to the teachings of the apostles, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.” And Ephesians 4:12 “Their purpose is to prepare God’s people, to serve, and to build up the body of Christ.”  God’s Word.

There are many books that have been written on hospitality (some are listed in our book list) but as you will see, Biblical Hospitality is different than table settings, menus and recipes.  The study of Biblical Hospitality prepared me for W.A.S.H. and I thought it only proper now to lead us into the materials I’ve had in my files on the subject to further the healing process.

We all have been harmed by sin in whatever form it comes to attack us.  Sometimes we don’t know how to relate to loved ones or people we know who are coping with the horrendous problems abuse has created in their lives.  Learning how God reaches out to us in our everyday life helps us to understand how we can then reach out to help each other.

So now “Welcome to our Biblical Hospitality” section created here just for you.  May you be blessed and may your vision be expanded as we explore the many facets of this kind of hospitality from Bible sources and other written materials.

Your hostess: Peggy Harris

We've gabbed, blabbed and jousted.

We've rumbled and grumbled,
Jumped with joy and cried.

Join hands now and sing,
Hold your hand out and shake.
Bless each other
and keep your eyes open!

Blessings to all and good cheer
With hope and kindness at our Reunion!
