Year, and many of us want to get a fresh start. We want to have the New Me!
There are always things we want to change about ourselves, and the Lord is
working with us to become holy, just as He is holy. Colossians 1:9-13.
The knowledge of God (knowing God) motivates
and empowers us to live a more holy life, which leads to a deepening
knowledge of God and His will for our lives.
Hebrews 5:12-14 indicates that God expects us
to grow and mature. He wants us to share what we know about Him with others
in our world. He wants to transform our character to become more like Him.
1Peter 1:15, 16 - Peter is calling us to be
holy, just as the one who calls us is holy.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 says we should be
thankful for God's blessings at all times regardless of the challenges
before us. Don't ever give up. Remember that the Lord will give you the
ability to endure. All things we face are for our good and the Glory of God.
