David Shantz - General Manager My name is David Shantz – General Manager of The CANDLE and I want to thank you for taking the time to check out our web site. We are a local radio station that covers a good part of Northern California with our signal. The mission and passion of all the staff is to provide programming that “Lights Your Way Home to Jesus Christ”. We have great music but we also have a few programs that deal with family issues that we face everyday. Why should a Christian turn to secular radio to find out how to handle money, raise children or be a better spouse? This is why we also provide programs such as “Focus on the Family,” “Money Matters”, “New Life Live” and “Parent Talk”. We also provide programming for children including Kids@Nite - M-TH 6:30-8:00pm, Kids Radio - Sat 8–10am, and Life on the Edge - Sun 8-10pm. I hope you are blessed by the programming. My name is Monika Griffin and what a gift to be able to help spread the incredible news of Jesus Christ!! Jesus has the power to change lives; to change destinies.

 Not only would I like to encourage Christians in their existing faith, but to grab hold of the lost, the suffering, the folks that don't yet know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It's as if I've discovered the biggest goldmine in the world and I can't wait to share the good news! Jesus is here to help us in all aspects of our lives--our families, our marriages, with our finances, our children, our challenges, our struggles. He is real, alive and vital to our personal joy in the midst that all life has to offer (good and bad). I love Jesus passionately and there's nothing better than sharing His grace with others!!

Whether it's during the morning show or while I'm acting as a public relations director for this radio station ministry, I just feel blessed to be able to be a part of this family!!
David and Carmen Shantz, Zetta Gore and everyone else behind the scenes at this radio station are the some of the most generous, kind, Christ-centered people that I have ever met. They are all equally committed to serving our Lord, Jesus Christ, in the most effective, dynamic ways possible. Andrea - Teen Host Hi, my name is Andrea and I am 22 years old. I have lived in Napa most of my life but would like to relocate to Sonoma County in the near future! I have wanted to work with teens even while I still was one. God has put an undying passion for the 13-18yr. Age group in my heart and I am so honored and excited to have the opportunity to fulfill that passion here at The Candle. I look forward to making both personal connections with our teenage listeners and creating a safe network of teens that can join together to both support each other and expand the body of Christ within their generation. I am very excited to see where God will take this ministry and can't wait to meet each and every one of you.
