8.  What was Christ's Mission? Jesus compared His mission to that of a farmer who plants seed in his field preparing it for the harvest.  He tells us that "a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop." "Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously."  "And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever."  "The righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father."  Jesus Christ came to plant His Word in the hearts of men and women and children everywhere.  That was His mission and that still is His mission.  Planting his word in the minds of men and women and children is the most important work in this world!  If you plant the Bible in others minds by studying the Bible with them you are doing the HIGHEST work in the entire world.  And if you plant the Bible in other people's minds by selling or giving away The Great Controversy you are doing the highest most noble, work in the world.  If you plant a few seeds for Jesus you will help a few people be ready for heaven and if you give or sell many books for Jesus you will prepare many for heaven.   Matthew 13:3; Luke 8:11; Mark 4:14 (Message Bible); Matthew 13:39; 2 Corinthians 9:6; (New Living Translation); 2 Corinthians 9:6 (New International Version); Daniel 12:3: Matthew 13:43.
