TACS has been a fixture in Tempe for more than fifty years. Our primary goal has been to help parents train their children in the foundation of God’s Word and pro­vide them with a quality education in the process.

Purpose
 

To provide a facility in our community where Chris­tian philosophy can be implemented to our children through education and training.

We teach math the old-fashioned way of master­ing the basic concepts and facts.

SWIM LESSONS

Lessons are offered during the first quarter

PIANO LESSONS

Lessons are offered on Friday after school.

WEEKLY CHAPELS

Various Christian leaders are keynote speakers at our Friday Chapels, including Pastor Ray Navarro from Tempe SDA Church.

VALLEY WIDE FIELDTRIPS

Every quarter students have the opportunity to participate in fun educational field trip.

Communication

The Connection, our weekly school newsletter, keeps you abreast of all current activities and up­coming events.

Teachers are available before and after school and can be reached via telephone in the evenings at home.

Home and School meetings are provided to facili­tate parental input and involvement.

Our School Secretary is available during school hours to meet your needs.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is one of the fastest growing Christian churches in the world today.  Membership in the world church is over 11 million.  Seventh-day Adventists reside in 205 countries and they speak in at least 725 languages and another 1,000 dialects.

Faculty

The faculty of TACS all have Bachelors or Masters degrees. They are certified by the Pacific Union Con­ference of Seventh-Day Adventists.  

Contract faculty with professional degrees or special expertise may also teach special classes to broaden and enrich the educational experience of each student.

Our Teachers

Andrea Howard teaches Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. She is known to her students as Mrs. Howard. Andrea has her Masters in Counseling and Psychology. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She brings to her classroom her love of science experiments, God and children.

Janis Farver teaches 1st through 4th grades. She is known to her students as Ms. B. Janis has her Masters in Language, Reading and Culture with a Reading Specialty. Ms. B has been at TACS for 8 years. She brings joy to the school through playing the piano and teaching the children to play chimes.

Guadalupe George teaches 5th through 8th grades. She is known to her students as Mrs. George and to parents and staff as Lu. Lu has her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is certified to teach Biology in secondary school. She comes to us with 15 years of experience teaching in elementary and secondary school in both in Spanish and English. She chooses to share her bilingual skills with her class by teaching a Spanish course. She has also consented to being our Principal this year.

A very supportive and vision-driven school board and community has provided this school with state-of-the-art technology. There continues to be, however, tremendous small-school spirit in this Christian school located in Tempe, Arizona.

Augmenting this progressive spirit, the teaching staff is innovative and eager to keep on the cutting edge of the latest trends in education. 

Tuition Information

  • Tuition:
    • Registration $285
    • August Tuition   $167.50
    • September – May $350

  •  Aftercare (Monday – Thursday from 3:00 – 5:00)
    • $10 a day or $100/month.

  •  Early Payment Credit:
    • $350 credit if you Pay the entire tuition for the year by the end of September.

  •  Family Discount:
    • $20 off for each additional child.

  •  Referral Credit:
    • $100 (one time) credit on your account for each registered student your refer.

  • Tuition can now be paid with a credit card and online
