Comments: It is encouraging to see so many of our churches with attractive web pages like yours and is dedicated in teaching Bible truths.In l925 when I was 8 years old our family lived in Lentz and I believe it was the central church that was asking Portland area churches to donate funds to buy folding pew seats for their church. We purchased four. Of course they are gone by now but someday I hope to come up your way some week end and try your present pews. May God richly bless your gospel teaching via the internet.

Comments: I really enjoyed the music last Sabbath. Especially Howard Handley on the sax. Watching him play makes one appreciate the time and effort it takes to perform such melody. One of the nice things about Tab SDA is the talent in the Church. My talent is to listen.

Comments: Hello, My management class requires some research into a "Barry Davis vs Texaco Corp." law suit that had some involvement from the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Salem OR. Would you perhaps have some knowledge on the outcome, dates or newspapers covering this case. This was an attempt by Barry Davis to close his 3 service stations for the Sabbath back in January, 1993. Comments: This is the second time I have visited your site. I am a former pastor.... worked with Bruce Fox. We have many friends in the church and would love to hear back from you. Just a quick note about our family: Jeanette and David: Teaching at universities in Pusan South Korea. David is enjoying his work. Jeanette has a lot of grading papers and she doesn't like the close work, but she enjoys teaching the students. Bryan, our oldest, graduated from Andrews University and is now teaching in the city where we live. He's very busy and creative in his class work. He loves giving Bible studies. Dan, the one who had a tumor on his heart.... is doing well. He just finished all his requirements for graduation and will be teaching English to children for the next 6 months. He will be working in Seoul, South Korea. Teaching children is not his forte but he can work as a teacher for children until he can get his actual diploma from Andrews. It's crazy... you can finish all your requirements for graduation but you can't get a diploma until regular graduation time. Darin is going to Southern Adventist University. He graduated from Auburn Academy last summer. He is doing well and his major is Music... wonder why with his mother and father being musical. He is a French Horn major. Merry Christmas to everyone. Comments: Dear Bruce and Martha, Thought I would say hello and wish you a Merry Christmas. Jeanette and I are doing very well. God has been blessing us. We are both teaching at universities here in South Korea. Our two older boys have finished college and both are SMs here in Korea. Darin is a freshman at Southern Adventist University. As for me: I will probably go back to Andrews and finish my D. Min. They are willing to reinstate me into the program. All I have left is my project. I plan to do it in the area of addictions. I saw your picture on the web page and you look as handsome and beautiful as ever. Please say hello to the congregation. May God bless you and your family in a very special way in this new year. Comments: Hi Bruce and Martha, John Wesslen and church members. It's Friday evening here in South Korea and we are enjoying being hooked up to the internet. We are listening to KTGS, our SDA radio station at Walla Walla. Just thought we would say hello and let you know what's happening in our lives. I'm still teaching at Pusan University of Foreign Studies. I've been here since we left the Portland area. Jeanette is teaching at another university close by. She is helping pay for the boy's education. So far, Bryan and Dan have finished university with no debts. Bryan just graduated from Helderberg college in South Africa, but his degree is from our SDA sister college at Andrews University. He's now teaching again for our SDA institute in Pusan. Dan has finished all of his classwork at Helderberg, as well, except for 15 hours of a foreign langauge. Because Helderberg does not offer any quick intensive coursework in languages, Andrews (where he will get his degree) is allowing him to take the coursework at another university. He's now here in Korea. He spent the last 2 months with us, but he's now attending a Korean university up in Seoul. He's studying Korean and will finish his studies in February. The he will graduate from Andrews and will probably teach here in Korea. He's become quite a guitarist and has also composed about 30 of his own songs. Darin graduated with honors from Auburn Academy on June 8. He was working for the band teacher there and he was also in the band. He plays the french horn. Anyway, the band teacher transferred to Southern Adventist University in Chattanooga Tennessee and he got Darin several music scholarships, to the tune of about 5000 dollars, so my pocket book was persuaded to send Darin there. Southern is also 3000 dollars less than Walla Walla so that was another factor. Darin also had a friend that went to Southern. He is now a freshman there and likes it very well. This past summer, Darin and I traveled accross the US from Seattle to Indiana. Jeanette's parents had a 65th wedding anniversary and we met together there. We were tour guides for one of my Korean students. On the way back to Indiana we stopped by Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore and the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. We had a great time with Jeanette's family. Then we traveled the southern route from Indiana to California via St Louis and Grand Canyon... what an awesome place. Then on to LA and Universal Studios on up to San Fran and then over to Yosemite, where we climbed half dome. Then we traveled up the coast of Cal to southern Oregon. We spent a couple of days in Portland, but they were not on the weekend so we didn't see any of you... sorry!!!!! We would love to hear from any of you. We'd like to know what's happening in your lives. God has been wonderful to us. Things are going very well in our lives and we thank the Lord for His grace.
