In my meditations recently, I've tried to get a fresh view of someone I was introduced to many years ago. The original introduction didn't go off well at all--I admit to being a bit put off by the image of Jesus of Nazareth that was given to me by the women in the children's departments at my church. A man so soft and cuddly didn't appeal to me.
As an adult, I've come to see him a bit differently. The stories and meditations linked below focus on Jesus as a man of courage.
