MATERNITY MINISTRY

Once every quarter, the members of Class 11 take a trip to the Spanish Town Hospital to do missionary work. Their focus is the Post-Natal Ward of the Maternity Wing.

On this ward, they minister to the mothers of newborn babies. Their activities include firstly, devotion, which consists of singing, prayers and exhortations from the Word. Next comes the distribution of gifts. These may be packages for the babies, or books for both mothers and babies.  Sometimes books and magazines are extended to the visiting relatives and friends of the mothers. Attached to each gift is a beautiful tag carrying the name, address and telephone number of our church. The mothers are also encouraged to call or visit the church for counselling should this be necessary. READ MORE
