MEET THE PASTOR

          Pastor Kevin J. Rhamie came to Southside Church from East Palo Alto where he served as Senior Pastor for four and a half years.
        He is a graduate of Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama with his degree in Theology and a minor in Biblical Languages. He received his Masters of Divinity degree at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. In addition to East Palo Alto, Pastor Rhamie has also served in Fresno and San Francisco, as well as Chaplain in the U. S. Army, Reserved from 1995 to 2001. He believes in empowering people through their God-given spiritual gifts.
        Pastor Rhamie is a native of England and his wife, Marie, who is an R. N. Nurse Practitioner is a native of Jamaica. They are the parents of two children, a daughter, Kristin, and a son, Kevin, Jr. Both are students at Bakersfield Adventist Academy.
