For the month of December, the JOY team decided to focus on a special seasonal message. We came up with the concept of a 'search' for Christmas JOY.  The programme features a journey (search) made by a group of children to find the true meaning of christmas. Along their journey they encounter an old folks home and a homeless family.   They are picked up in a train (driven by Sydney Simmons) and they travel through the west end of Bermuda- through Somerset village, over Watford bridge and on to Dockyard making many stops along the way- and all in attempt to find christmas joy.

The programme also features:
* A guest appearance by the southampton childrens praise choir
* Healthwise with Drs. Lee and Rosamund Gibbons dealing with getting through the christmas blues
* Childrens story by Sharon Phillips
* Cooking with Crystal and the kids making a vegetarian meatloaf
* Family caroling around the piano.
* and a Christmas message by Pastor Donnieval showing that Christmas JOY was actually found by the actions of the children when they unselfishly gave to the homeless, and visited the elderly

We wish for you a happy holiday and a wonderful 2003!
