The Department of Women's Ministries is committed to encouraging, challenging, equipping, and nurturing Seventh-day Adventist women as they do their part in carrying the Gospel message to the world.

"The Lord has a work for women as well as for men. They may take their places in His work at this crisis, and He will work through them .... They can do in families a work that men cannot do, a work that reaches the inner life. They can come close to the hearts of those whom men cannot reach. In conjunction with the Department of Human Resources, the Shoals SDA Women's Ministries is creating "Care Bags" to distribute to children who are removed from homes during meth raids.  The "care bags" include a blanket, toothbrush, toothpaste, colors, coloring book, stuffed animal, and a comb.  The children are not allowed to take any of their belongings when they are removed from these homes.  The "Care Bag" allows them the opportunity to have a little something special that belongs to them during this tragic time in their life.   Below are pictures of the Women's Ministries group as they assemble the bags.
