Religious Liberty:
Frank B. Potts, Leader
The Adventist church is committed to the principle meaning of religious
freedom: The differences in religions, throughout the world, should be
respected. What we choose to believe and how we choose to worship should
be according to the dictates of our conscience. The International
Religious Liberty Association continues to defend the right to religious freedom
worldwide, by helping all religions find a common ground.
For more than 100 years the Seventh-day Adventist Church has
sponsored social work, disaster relief and public health services in North
America and around the world. It views the church as a servant body.
Created for service, Christ's followers serve the Lord in praise, serve one
another in love, and serve the world in humility.
The Shoals Seventh-day Adventist Church carries on this
tradition by serving our community through discovering the needs of the
community, mobilizing a response to specific concern, organizing programs, and
meeting the financial, physical and spiritual needs of individuals.
