Shiloh
Children’s Ministry Department Aim: The aim of the Shiloh Children’s Ministry Department
is to work with the parents and children to maintain a better relationship
with God. We will provide a
safe nurturing environment so that parents can feel comfortable knowing that
the Children Ministry program is a positive program, to which their child
will be involved and learn to develop a Christ-like character. Sabbath
School Divisions: Ø Beginners: Ages Birth – 2 years Parents are encouraged to do
the activities in the Do & Say section at the end of each Sabbath School
lesson. Involving the child in
family worship like singing songs, will help foster a love for Jesus and His
Word. Ø Kindergarten: Ages 3yrs –5yrs Parents are encouraged to
introduce the Bible at this age. Kindergarten children enjoy repetition and
they learn by active participation. Ø Primary: Ages 7yrs – 9yrs The Primary Bible Study Guide
will help the children learn to use the Bible.
Parents are encouraged to make time for daily study with their
children, reading the lessons during family worship, and sharing fun doing
the Bible based activities. Ø Junior/Earliteen: Ages 10yrs – 14yrs Power Points help the Junior/Earliteen to communicate with God through prayer, and reading the Bible. They are encouraged to take time to reflect on Jesus everyday, which will help them to be strong growing Christians. Children’s Choir
The Shiloh Children's choir has been in existence as
long as Shiloh has been around. The Children's choir came from the former
Ephesus church, which started 20 years ago. Since it's existence Marva
Serrette has been the choir director. Currently, there are about 35 members
of the children’s choir ranging in ages 6-12. The aim and goal of the
choir is to enrich children's spiritual growth through song. Pathfinders
