Date: October 5, 2002 Name: Kevin Tucker Email: k.tucker@roadrunner.nf.net Location: Paradise, Newfoundland, Canada Thoughts: I have just finished reading a book that was given to me entitled "National Sunday Law" and I must say that this book captivated my interest to the point that I was compelled to seek more information on what the book was saying and also for my own interest to learn in particular about Seventh-day Adventists and what they are all about. Through information aquired in both my own personal bible study and by searching the web, (including critics and non-critics),I have found very little evidence that would discredit the book; as a matter of fact , much of the evidence clearly points to the credibility of what the author has to say. This book was a mind-opener - causing me to question my own beliefs. Both my wife and I are born-again believers having both come from Pentecostal background, however we haven't been attending any particular church for the past two years or so. I really don't know why I'm writing and telling you all this but lately it seems to weigh heavily with my wife and I to want to get back to attending church again. Only God knows where this could lead. Please pray for us. 47. We'll plan on dropping by if it works out. We plan on landing from Yarmouth via ferry at Argentia and moving our way around to the Port aux Basque [sic] ferry for a return to Nova Scotia and return to the states. We were in NS for a two week visit on our honeymoon 16 years ago and wanted to make it to NF but ran out of time and dime. What is the best time to visit? Where are your churches located etc. When we travel we don't dress up which make some heads turn but it also starts some good discussion. We travel comfortably and if a church is handy we just drop in. Have a good day.
