The story is told about the great man of prayer and faith George Muller.  He was on his way to Quebec on a ship when fog made the journey difficult to travel and slowed the course considerably.  Muller is reported to have accosted the Captain and informed him of his appointment in Quebec.  The Captain told him that there was no way they would reach Quebec in time.  Then Muller asked if they could pray in the captain’s office. The captain agreed but thought the prayer useless.  Muller stated that his eye was not on the density of the fog but on the power of the almighty.  Once in the office Muller prayed a simply prayer asking if God could remove the fog so that he could meet his appointment.
