Prayer Meeting: There are two prayer meetings currently running: one in the Church Boardroom and the other at Harty Bader's house. Both are on Wednesdays 7:00-8:00 pm.

The Victoria Fil-Can Seventh-day Adventist Church will be meeting every Sabbath at the Victoria Philippine Bayanihan Community Centre, 1709 Blanshard Street starting August 5th at 9:30 AM. The centre is located beside the former Earl's Restaurant facing the parking lot of the old The Bay Building between Fisgard and North Park Sts. Conveniently accessible by bus at Douglas and Quadra Sts. Free parking available at the compound or along streets and lots of paid parking spaces around. There will be potluck lunches every Sabbath unless announced otherwise. Everyone is welcome.

Women's Book Club: During the summer (June - Sept.) we will be reading the entire Chronicles of Narnia. Join us for great discussion on the Narnia books on the 4th Wednesday in September. Call Donna Jack for info and location 652-0409.

Birthdays and emails:  If your birthday is not in the bulletin or it is wrong, please let us know so that we can change it.  Also, if you are not getting the bulletin on email please let us know.

Pathfinders/Adventurers News & School / Youth News

Pathfinders Club Update:
The Island Eagles Pathfinder Club hosts weekly meeting s has been running successfully for 2 years and has an active membership of 9 Junior Pathfinders and 6 Leaders (ages 10-12, grades 5-7). 10 Pathfinders and 5 Leaders attended the Camp Hope Camporee. The club hosted and participated in Pathfinder Sabbath and an Investiture Service where we welcomed our new members! In preparation for the May 2005 Camporee on May 19th,, the club has acquired Class A Dress Uniforms, Class B Uniforms (Tee Shirts and Hooded Jackets), Club Flags, 4 Club Tents and 20 Mess Kits.

Pathfinder Membership:
4 Sidney Church: Brent K., Kelsey S., Kelsey L., and Alexis V.
3 Victoria Church: Krystal-Dale, Sasha, and Nicola.
2 Non Adventists: that attend LCS – Kevin and David.
6 Leaders: Brian and Michelle, Dean, Vladamir, Ty, and Holly-Dale.

Adventurers is done until the next school year.
