Talk to God every day in prayer. 2. Study God's word each day. 3.  Find someone else who shares your burden to sell and give copies of The Great Controversy to others. Make a commitment to pray together every day, or as often as possible. Pray for those you sell or give The Great Controversy to. Ask, everyday, for God's greatest gift, His Holy Spirit claiming God's promise "Ask and it will be given to you.  If you know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him."  Ask God for His Holy Spirit each day and believe He sends His Spirit because He has promised. Luke 11:9-13.  Jesus sent His disciples out in groups of two. You will have much greater success working together with someone else. You may not always work directly together because you will be going to different places every day but you can daily pray together by phone, email, and, or, in person each day. Jesus sent His disciples out in groups of two. He sent His twelve disciples out in six teams of two each. Jesus sent another group of disciples out in thirty six teams of two each. Peter and John are examples of Jesus' plan to have two disciples working together. Read about His plan in the following Scriptures. Mark 6:7; Luke 10:1; Luke 22:8; Mark 14:33; John 18:15, 16; Acts 3 & 4; Acts 8:14-25; Matthew 18:19, 20. 4.  Purchase cases or copies of The Great Controversy. God will then be able to use you to share His answer book with those you meet. God will lead you to those who "are looking wistfully to heaven" with "prayers and tears." He will lead you to those who are asking Him to send someone to them to answer their questions and satisfy their deep spiritual hunger and thirst. 5.  Go to an office supply store and buy sheets of blank labels to be used with your computer's label making program.  One brand name is "Avery."  They come in different sizes.  You may wish to go home and make labels to be put just inside the front cover or even on the cover itself.  This helps those people who want to get involved with using "The Great Controversy" in witnessing but may be somewhat shy.  The shy person can take copies of the book and leave one in a waiting room, on a bench in the mall, a rest room, and in other places.  When a person sees the label they will feel free to take the book home.  If you leave a book on a bench some people would avoid taking it thinking that someone lost their book and might come back for it.  The label might say something like "THIS BOOK IS FREE -- take this home with you.  Read more about it at http://www.greatcontroversyclub.com "  6.  Carry a copy, or several copies, of The Great Controversy with you wherever you go. 7. Ask God to do what He has already promised to do for you.  Ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit, lead you to someone who is searching for help, and give you the right words to speak.  Don't worry about what you will say. Be friendly and remember that He promises "Do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak."  Luke 11:9-13; Matthew 10:19. 8.  Look for the person He is guiding you to. Do not expect everyone to be receptive. Many will have no interest. It is just like fishing. Many of the fish have no interest in your bait. Some do, and those are the fish you catch. Jesus said "Follow Me and I will make you a fisherman of men,' and women and children."  Also leave a copy of The Great Controversy in waiting rooms when you go to the Dentist, the Doctor, to have your car worked on, and any waiting room you go to for anything.  Don't ask.  Just casually set one down with the magazines. Confess all your sins to Jesus and believe He cleanses you of every sin through His blood.  "The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. . . .  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."  1 John 1:7, 9. Believe what Christ tells you through His Word.  He says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19, 20. Determine that you will obey Christ, find daily cleansing through His blood, and "go and make disciples . . . teaching them," knowing that Christ is right there beside you smiling upon you and using you to help others. Claim God's promise. Pray something like this, "Dear Father you have promised 'Ask and it shall be given you.' You have told me your word is a seed that you have given me to plant in the hearts of your children everywhere. I am doing as you commanded. You said 'Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always.' You said 'do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak.' Lord I ask you to lead me to those who need the book 'The Great Controversy' today. And I thank you for hearing and answering this prayer in Jesus name Amen." Would Jesus have come to die for billions or trillions of dollars?  How silly!  He owns it all.  There is only one thing that Jesus cares enough to die for. He died for the person that may look worthless to us.  He chose to step down from the Throne as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, as Creator of all, to die for you.  He died for the people you see each day.  For many His death will have been in vain.  You now have a tool that will help others to prepare for the crisis ahead and for the second coming of Christ.  Use it wisely and God will bless you eternally with eternal rewards. You are only going to live on Planet Earth a few more years at best.  Why not make those years productive?  Why not obey Jesus and share the good news of salvation through Jesus who claims "I am the way, the truth, and the life?"   Why not look forward to seeing thousands saved at last with Him in His beautiful home in heaven and on Planet Earth after He recreates it into a beautiful paradise?  (Matthew 5:5 and Revelation 21, 22.)  Jesus says "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. "Officer," I said here is a book I wrote called 'Prophecy Made Easy'. The first chapter contains 50 prophecies from the Old Testament prophets that were fulfilled in the Life of Jesus Christ. For example, Micah the prophet foretold in Micah 5:2 the exact town Jesus would be born in, Bethlehem, 700 years in advance. David, the prophet, foretold the crucifixion of Christ 1,000 years in advance in Psalm 22:16. And Daniel, the prophet, foretold the exact year the Christ would be baptized and the exact year He would be crucified 500 years in advance. I have put 50 prophecies just like those in the first chapter of Prophecy Made Easy. Then from Chapter 2 to 32 you may read what God has revealed about the past, present, and future in the great prophecies of the Bible, especially the last book of the Bible, Revelation. Or do you think he bought a book because the Holy Spirit spoke to His heart?   I'm not clever and he owed me nothing.  I believe the Holy Spirit spoke to his heart that night in front of his police car with red, white, and blue lights flashing!   I believe God sold the book and I believe it is a seed that will grow in his heart and that it will help him and his family successfully prepare for heaven.  I believe God speaks through His own words that are quoted over 1,000 times in that book.  I believe that the book will help him find answers to many of his most difficult questions. That book points to Jesus and says, "Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."  John 1:29. That night I failed. And that night God succeeded. Another Experience - Another time I was coming home from another hospital about midnight and stopped at a gas station.  A man just drove in as I was leaving.  I showed him Prophecy Made Easy and spoke briefly about it. He said, "No, I already have it.  I bought it from you about a week ago at this same time." I said, "Oh that is wonderful. Then you will enjoy this companion volume, The Great Controversy."  He said "yes" and now has both. Selling a book to another individual takes time. You have to be willing to hear the word "no."  Thank them and try again with another person. This all happened in just the few minutes before I had to be at work at the hospital. God arranges circumstances. He arranged that we would both pump gas at the same time and I would get to meet Connie who was searching to know more about Jesus and what will soon take place according to Bible prophecy. I believe God has a sense of humor and arranged for the cost of the gas to fill my car would come to exactly $12.99, the price of one copy of Prophecy Made Easy. I have sold lots of books at gas stations, in the post office, in the grocery store, in parking lots, in restaurants, and even wherever I get my hair cut. I have a book with me everywhere I go. If I speak to a person and they say they can't afford the book I say that's O.K. just put something down on it.  I'll give it to you today and just send me the balance some other time when it is convenient.  When they buy like that I'm content even if they never send me another penny.  I am happy either way.  If they send me the balance in the future I am happy and if they do not send me the rest of the price of the book I am still happy.  My goal is to get the greatest number of God's books, God's seed planted for God's harvest that will take place when Christ returns to take us to His glorious Kingdom.  If I plant a few  seeds, a few books, I will see a few people eternally saved but if I plant many seeds, many books, I will see many people saved for all eternity in God's glorious kingdom. "Scatter them Like the Leaves of Autumn." 15.  Why sell any books?  Why don't we just buy the books and give them all away? Why shouldn't I just buy and give away all the books?  We should give some of them away but my experience is that people value what they pay for.  Often the more they pay the more they value it. If they do not value the book they will not read it.  Also it is important to continually replenish your supplies so that you never run out.  Use the money to buy more books so that you can accomplish more.  And in this way you never have the excuse that you can't distribute God's Word and God's books because you can't afford to.  When you sell the books you automatically have the finances to buy more books.  And as you distribute more books God is able to perform more miracles changing hearts and lives. Ultimately you will end up inviting more people to share eternal life with you.  If someone says no, and many do, you can always give them a free tract or a booklet instead. 16.  How can I sell or give away The Great Controversy?  Where will I find the time? You may say I can't witness because I have to work.  I have to take care of my family.  Leave witnessing to the professional.  That sounds logical but it was the professionals, the church leaders, who hated Jesus and plotted His crucifixion. It was the professional church leaders who put Him on the cross. Christ has always chosen to carry His good news through every-day people like you and me. The reason The Great Controversy witnessing plan is so powerful is that witnessing in this manner does not require extra time. You carry a book with you into the grocery store and talk to others as you are standing in line to be checked out. I've sold many books at the grocery store to both customers and employees. Use wisdom and avoid controversy. You are not a professional arguer. You are a witness. And the job of a witness is just to tell what he or she has seen. Tell others what good things this book has done in your life. Read it and share the sense of security you have found in knowing the future before it happens. If a person is not comfortable talking with you about the book do not continue. Your job is to find one here and one there who is truly excited about the book. Those are the ones you will one day have as forever friends.  Then they will throw their arms around you in heaven and say, "if it weren't for you I'd never have leaned about Jesus, eternal life, and heaven. I would never have learned about the future and found security in Jesus. That book you gave me those many years ago made the difference.  Thank you. Thank you so very much!  I'll love you forever!"  Through this simple plan thousands will be thanking you just like this throughout eternity.
