Pastor Billy

Billy Gager was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, he grew up in Biloxi-Gulfport on the gulf coast of Mississippi.

Growing up Billy thought of God as some distant & uninvolved being and church as a man-made morality. He thought of the Bible as a make-believe storybook. But, he had a praying grandma. Grandma Gager prayed for Billy for 16 years & shared Christ with him whenever He would listen.

After Grandma Gager died, Billy & his Dad became acquainted with a pastor who started Bible Studies with them. As He put aside his pre-conceived ideas about religion, Billy studied for himself, asking a lot of questions. Through his study, Billy found answers to His questions. Billy found a God who is extremely active in this world–a God who has a purpose for his life in Christ. He found that the Bible IS trustworthy, and that God’s principles for holy living brought peace and fulfillment beyond lust, greed, and his own pride.

Since that time, Billy’s life has been an adventure, not without its trials, but a life that has been overwhelmingly rewarding.

In the summer of 2007, Billy will begin Pastoring two amazing churches–“Olive East Seventh-day Adventist Church” in Merced, California, and “Mariposa Seventh-day Adventist Church” in Mariposa, California.
