Sabbath School

Sabbath School starts each Saturday at 9:15 a.m. with a Song Service. It is followed by Sabbath School Program at 9:30 a.m.. Lesson Study starts at 10:00 a.m..

Divine Worship Service:

The Divine Worship Service starts each Saturday at 11:00 a.m..

Adult Small Groups Bible Study: -Make friends in the comfort of a member's home while learning exciting new truths from Scripture. This is a very active ministry in Oakwood.

Kids for Christ: -We have a core staff of six dedicated volunteers working as a team with the church membership, to help accomplish this mission, of taking God's word to our children and their parents who live in our community. As a direct result of this program, parents have taken bible studies, there have been at least three baptisms, and several children attend church on Sabbaths. Please click here for more detail.

Music Ministries: -Many opportunities to use musical talent to bless others: Men's Choral, Women's Chorus, Sanctuary Choir, English Handbell Group, a unique Asian Ethnic group, "The Kolintang Ensemble," Children's Choir, and many informal groups of string and wind instruments. Youth Ministries: -Pathfinders, Adventurers, Eager Beavers, Collegiate Gym Night, Vespers, Youth Evangelism, Lunch for the Homeless Project all represent a variety of opportunities for young people to make friends and build character. Please click here for more detail.

Women Ministries: -Women reaching out to other women. Playing, Praising, and Praying.

Our Church School: -Oakwood Academy is a K-10 school with an innovative curriculum providing a model classroom for the 21st Century. Technology-assisted instruction is provided at every level. Most importantly, this progressive education is offered in a Christ-centered environment where each child is encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Prayer Meetings: -Prayer meeting are held each week on Tuesday nights at the church

Social Program: -The Church Social Committee plans a number of recreational activities each year for the entire membership. Several special celebrations also are held each year. Men's Gym Night takes place on a weekly basis. These and many informal opportunities encourage friendships to grow in a supportive and loving way.

Ethnic Festivals:- Our congregation comes from 32 different countries. International Ethnic Festivals by the different cultural groups are wonderful activities. The different cultures make this church full of colorful lives. We can get a taste the Unity of Spirits in the New Heaven through these activities.
