Grand Bahama Academy of Seventh-day Adventists

Grand Bahama Academy (GBA), a Seventh-day Adventist school in the Northern Bahamas, has captured first place once again. This time in the "Mastermind Junior High Science Competition" held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. The team champions are from right to left Gabrielle Hanna, Alicia Rahming, Tia Mackey and Daniel McKinney. The program is sponsored by the Grand Bahama Science Teachers' Association. This is the third major success story for GBA this year having previously won the GB District Spelling Bee Competition and having a student achieve the highest Bahamas Junior Certificate academic results in Grand Bahama for 2007.
