Spring 2005 Pulpit Series by
Barrington H. Brennen
April to June

During this Spring 2005 Pulpit Series, Pastor Barrington will be uncovering ancient truth for today's growing Christian.   He will reveal a special message from each of the historical seven churches and its relevancy for post modern Christians.  As a church, we have focused too much on Laodicea (Rev 3:14-22), thus omitting the spiritual truths hidden in the other churches.    Discover which one of the historical seven churches is similar to the church you are attending today.  Learn how your church can avoid becoming a Laodicean Church.   Join us each Sabbath (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m., beginning April 9, 2005, as Pastor Barrington unfolds these special life-changing truths from the seven churches.   Listen with Free Real Audio.  Read High Lights in PDF Format

Summer Pulpit Series -August to October 2005 "The Obedience Trap"  This is going to be an intense pulpit series on the Biblical meaning of obedience.  The series will show from scripture and life applications the difference between conformity, compliance, and obedience.  Pastor Barrington will combine his training and experience as a marriage and family therapist and theologian to help us understand what true obedience really means in the Bible and how to apply it to everyday life.  Could it be that when we ask someone to obey, we are actually making him comply instead (which may not be psychologically or spiritually healthy)?  Oops!  Am I already opening my secret bag?  This life-changing sermon series will benefit parents, married couples, single adults, teenagers, and church members.  englerston@batelnet.bs
