Special Prayer and Fasting
Friday, March 2, 2007, 7:00 p.m.
All are
invited to join the Pastor Owusu Boateng and the members of the New Englerston
Church at 7 p.m. to 12 Midnight (Tonight, Friday, March 2, 2007) for a special evening of “Prayer, Presentation &
Song.” Our evening will consists of four hourly sessions with featured speakers
and musical presentations, capped with seasons of prayer for the following areas
of concern:-
1. Crime & Violence
2. Church Leadership
3. National Leadership
4. Individual Spirituality
Join us also on Sabbath (March 3) from 9:15 a.m. for Sabbath School and the
special Divine Hour at 11:00 a.m. Thee will be prayer walk throughout the Englerston Community 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Then until sunset there will be inspirational services when we return to the sanctuary for our final
sessions relating to women’s issues, men issues, youth/children issues and
vespers.
2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people,
which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my
face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will
forgive their sins, and will heal their land.
Two
Winners from Englerston
Listen to Bahamas Conference Health
Speech Contest Winners from Englerston Church. The contest was held at the
Centreville Seventh-day Adventist Church, Nassau, on Sabbath afternoon, July 8,
2006. There were two winners from New Englerston.
Donalee Hewitt
won in the Pathfinder age category.
Deandra Johnson
won in the adults category. The topic: "The Vegetarian Diet is
the Best Diet."

Evangelistic
Meetings Begins On
February 20, 2005 the New Englerston Church will join the Eastern Region
Churches in a giant crusade. The speaker will be Pastor T. Basil Sturrup.
Air-condition
We have purchased our air-condition units and will be installing them in the
coming weeks.
First
Quarter Pulpit Series Pastor
Barrington is preaching from Hebrews 12 during the first quarter of
2005.

New Englerston Member
Graduates As Top Police
- Wayne Duncombe, and member of the New
Englerston Church and
the
son of Pastor Jeremiah and Joan Duncombe graduated with honors as a police
from the Royal Bahamas Police College, on Wednesday, December 11, 2003.
He was the most outstanding police graduate. He received the Baton
of Honor, which is presented to the recruit in a squad for overall
performance in all of the disciplines during his or her course of
study at the Police College. He also received the Commandant's
Award, which is presented to the recruit in a squad for best academic
performance. The members of New Englerston Church are
proud of Wayne. We love you!
