Adventurers
Our Adventurer program is thriving. Consisting of nearly a dozen members, our young people ages 5-9 attend weekly meetings and annual Spring Escapes at Camp Lawroweld in Maine.
Pathfinders
Our Pathfinder Club consists of eight members and is directed by Penny Ela and a great staff of Carol Young, Judy Miller, Eileen Palumbo, Jim Keady and Diane Gaspard. The group has been working hard on the knot honor this winter in preparation for the Spring camporee.
Personal Ministries
Women's Ministries sponsors several women a year to a special Women's Retreats. Last years' were held at Camp Lawroweld in Maine and Waterville Valley in New Hampshire. Women's Ministries is also involved nearly year-round with a highly successful Secret Sister program.
The men may attend the Men's Spiritual Retreats as well.
Singles Ministries
Anyone who is single and desires Christian fellowship is welcome to our
Singles meetings at the church two Sundays a month at
3 p.m. The first hour is always spiritual, the second hour is fun time,
and the third hour is refreshments. For further information, you may
e-mail laurea3@juno.com.
Prayer Ministry
Our prayer ministry is two-fold. First, there is the Prayer Calendar, which can be accessed on this website here. For each day, a prayer request has been included for you to pray for. The second part of the prayer ministry is the prayer box, which is located in the church foyer. Place your prayer request in the box and take one out.
Coronary Health Improvement Project (CHIP)©
Ken and Diane Gaspard with Angela Miller head up the health ministry that reaches out to members and the community at the same time. The program is designed to educate participants on a healthy lifestyle while giving them the choice to make changes in their eating and exercising habits. Mountain Views' CHIP program was the first in the Southern Vermont area, but the program is international, having graduated over 40,000 worldwide. Results from the each program globally and locally have been remarkable.
