Construction on Phase One of our building project was completed in 2001 and we are currently in the process of planning, funding and starting work on Phase Two. Phase One was the actual construction of the main church, including the Sabbath School and most of the children's classrooms. It involved constructing a limited fellowship hall. Phase Two will replace the existing fellowship hall with more Sabbath School classrooms and will extend the building into a much larger fellowship hall complete with a roomy kitchen.

• October 25, 2001 : The asphalt was laid for our driveway.  
• September 8, 2001 : Open House for the new church.  The church was packed (standing room only)! Thanks to all who helped make this possible, and thank you to all our former pastors who were there or submitted letters.  Also, Pine Tree Academy's special choir gave a wonderful performance (considering they only had a few days to get together).  Thanks!
• August 27, 2001 : Last Sabbath, August 25, there were some new pews in our sanctuary! Not all of them are assembled as of yet, but the ones already done look and feel wonderful. Outside, more work has been going on.  Ditches are being dug for the drive-through area in front of the front door, so we had to go through the pastor study's door to get into the church.
• July 28, 2001 : First Sabbath in our new church.  Wonderful, uplifting service.
• July 23, 2001 : We have moved into our new church! Last Saturday night, July 21, Jean and Gary Brodis organized a special moving "party", since they would not have been able to make it on Sunday, the scheduled moving day.  The turnout was overwhelming that night!  Many families came to the church and helped out packing boxes and hauling pews and other furniture out.  Nearly the whole church was moved out in two hours and was brought to the new church in Vernon.  Yesterday, Sunday, the remainder of the moving was done along with more organization and unpacking at the new church.  The new church, although not everything is finished yet, looks great! Thanks to everyone who participated in moving the church!
