Vespers • • • Announcements June 27, 2009 Thank You: In whatever capacity you have ministered throughout 2008-2009, whether as deacons or elders, greeters or Sabbath School teachers, A SPECIAL THANK YOU to all and each of you for your faithfulness. You used and multiplied all your God-given gifts. You served in moral earnestness, demonstrated leadership and relational skills, common sense and teaching ability. And all of this was bathed in Christ’s love. “Well done, good and faithful servant!…” (Matthew 25:21). But to those of you who were reelected in various church offices and who will carry on the torch of Christian service, may the words of Apostle Paul become your personal experience: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Church Work Bee: Sunday, June 28, 8:00 a.m. Please come to give our church a spring housecleaning. Bring basic cleaning supplies such as rags and pails. We will be preparing the church for our tenth anniversary event. Sabbath Potluck: There will be no potluck next Sabbath, July 4. The celebration will begin on Friday evening, July 10 with a light soup/bread supper at 5:30 p.m. followed by communion service. Then on Sabbath, July 11, we will have a special worship service with Pastor Hiner speaking and Beverly Foster playing the organ. Sabbath School will be followed by a picnic potluck on the side lawn of the church and then we will have an afternoon service. Please plan to join us for this special weekend!
