The nominating committee is looking for people willing to help out in the children’s Sabbath School divisions for the coming year. Women’s Support Group and Bible Study will meet the first and third Sunday of each month at 10:00 a.m. All ladies are invited to attend! Offering Next Sabbath: Next Sabbath, May 9, we will be participating in the Disaster and Famine Relief Offering. This is a yearly opportunity for us as a church family to extend a helping hand to so many people who struggle with social issues and economic development or have survived armed conflicts and natural disasters around the world. Please consider this week what you can give. Dream Session: To the members of the Moorhead SDA church – on Sabbath, May 9th at 1:00 p.m. we will be discussing the tentative calendar that has been prepared to outline our church’s evangelism plans, 10 year anniversary and upcoming evangelistic series in 2010. May the Lord guide us as we go about His work. Evangelism in Tanzania: The African Conference is conducting a public satellite based evangelism effort and is asking for financial donations to aid in the purchase of evangelistic materials. If you would like to contribute, please place your contribution in a tithe envelope and mark it “Evangelism AA SDA Church”. Moving: Joyce Meyer will be moving to the University Manor on May 17. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Did You Know that this week Union College dedicated 24 new student missionaries and four task force workers who will be serving all over the world next school year? Christian education is still focused on service and loyalty to the gospel commission to “go into all the world and preach the gospel”. Distribution Depot: The center closed on April 30 but over the month was able to help over 1100 families and distributed about $250,000 worth of goods.
