Two Days to Remember! Two special days will long be remembered in our church! Gordon Legge and Belinda Fizzard exchanged wedding vows on Friday, December 10th, 1999 at a ceremony conducted by the Provincial Magistrate. Pastor Long's sermon focused on the very first wedding - Adam and Eve. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church where a cold plate supper was served. Attendants for the happy Bride and Groom were Bridesmaid Audrey Hirschkorn and Best Man Cliff Hillier. Home for Gordon and Belinda is Burin Bay Arm. We apologize for the poor picture quality of Gordon's Baptism. Please focus on the heart instead! The next day (December 11, 1999) was another day of rejoicing! Gordon Legge had studied the Bible for a little over a year and was convicted that God was calling him to become a Baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. So following the Biblical example of Jesus, Gordon was Bapized by immersion. He said afterwards that he felt like a new man with a new life. How true it is!
