Shawna's Day! October 8, 1999 was a day of rejoicing for the heavenly courts and the Marystown Church as Shawna Ohlmann committed her life to the Lord Jesus Christ in the waters of Baptism! Thirteen years old, Shawna has dedicated her life in the service of Christ. We pray for the continued indwelling of the Holy Spirit in Shawna's life that she may progress daily in the Lord's footsteps! Non-Perishable Food Drive! As an alternative to the typical Halloween tradition we at the Marystown SDA Church took our children out and collected canned goods for the needy in our area. These children collected two large boxes and two large sacks. The items will be divided and given to the needy during the Christmas week. Great Food for a Great Cause! The Church members gathered their time and energy to raise funds for our Church improvement project. The benefits of which you can see in the pictures on the November Section of "Special Events". We sold 440 Cold Plates ( Turkey, two potato salads, two jello salad, roll, and stuffing) for $ 5.00. The Church raised approx. $2200.00 to go towards the repairs needed in our Church.
