Ministries
"Each one should use
whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering
God's grace in its various forms"
1 Peter 4:10
(NIV)
At the Marietta Adventist Church, we believe that ministry is a
vital component in the spiritual growth of our members. We each have times
in our lives when we need to be ministered to. Incredible spiritual
growth can occur while in the valleys of life. But spiritual growth also
occurs when ministering to others. At Marietta we offer a number of ways
for our members to develop their spiritual gifts, learn ministry tools, and use
this knowledge to serve others.
A number of ministries are available for active participation
by our membership. As is true in any church, you can become involved
in the church by serving as deacons or deaconesses, teaching the
children/youth/adult Sabbath school classes, or singing in the choirs or worship
teams. We also offer a variety of youth activities and recreational
activities for all ages.
Ministry opportunities include, but are not limited to:
-
Abba's Hour - Prayer ministry
-

Care - A facility for the growth and development of preschool children

provide nurture, care and connectives to the broader church in a more localized
setting. We currently have 15 active parishes with leadership. The
parishes are geographic in nature. Regular attending members are directed
toward their respective parish leaders, these leaders seek to provide
spiritual community growth opportunities. For further information about
the Parish Program and getting involved please contact the Parish Leader.
