From their promotion: "Machine translation doesn't simply translate text word by word but actually analyzes sentences based on the rules of the language and translates the words and phrases in the context of the original document. Although not perfect, machine translation offers a higher level of accuracy and reader comprehension than the standard automatic translation programs currently available."

  • Cool Science for Curious Kids — Educators and parents looking for innovative and educational activities to share with children should visit Cool Science for Curious Kids. The site, developed by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, features hands-on activities from five children's and science museums from around the country. The site uses animation, sound, quizzes and other techniques to encourage kids to explore science. The site is targeted at elementary school students, and its use is free.
