Small Group Bible Studies: Do you want to grow in your understanding of the Bible? Do you desire a dynamic relationship with God that equips you to be an effective disciple of Jesus Christ? Then try one of our Bible study small groups that meet on Saturday mornings or during the week. Ministry Teams: What would it be like to be part of a church that takes the gifts and leadership abilities of it's members seriously? Members and friends of the Lewiston Seventh-day Adventist Church know first hand. Organized around seven ministry teams we've found that teaming together for the glory of God can be very effective and fun. Koinonia Ministry: Presently we're preparing and training a number of "lay pastors" to provide care and support for individuals within the church family. We believe that there are many "pastors" within the congregation whom the Holy Spirit has especially gifted. Kids Ministries: We have a well staffed Christian education program each Saturday for infants through youth. Special activities for families with children include picnics in the park, day trips and a special yearly worship service at a nearby farm. Our worship is "family and kid friendly" with creative activities for younger children to do during the service. Pathfinders: This is a youth club for ages 10-15. Designed to be a fun way of learning about God, the out-of-doors and our fascinating world this club meets weekly. Several times each year our local Lewis-Clark Pathfinder Club gathers with other Northwest clubs for special camping rallies. Beacon Christian School: If you want the best in education that prepares kids for life now and for eternity, then Beacon Seventh-day Adventist School is just the ticket. Kindergarten through eighth grade students experience a truly Christian education through dedicated, Christian and certified faculty. Music programs, community service projects and computers enrich our classroom learning. Our facility has an indoor gym and is situated on a spacious campus. Prayer Ministries: The Lewiston Adventist congregation is a praying church family. An active prayer chain and several weekly prayer ministries provide the spiritual power that ignites our ministries and people. Mission Opportunities: We invest both our people and financial resources in sharing the gospel beyond our local congregation. Our young people participate in both short and long term mission experiences. We are a global thinking church and are excited to be part of the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist Movement. |
