All you wanted to knowPart of what we preach and are proud of, is the Health Message. The Health Tent is a practical way of spreading the Gospel and teaching others about health reform. It is a free service to the Laudium Community. This is an outreach program that we offer to our community. Anyone can come and have a check up. Our Staff are fully qualified Professional pharmacists, nurses, consultants and health counselors. The tent offers a very user-friendly service by way of free tests-- blood pressure, sugar level, weight control and cholesterol tests. Test results are recorded on documentation that is specially designed to collect strategic personal information, that is handed to trained counselors to help them counsel accordingly to meet individual needs. This is the main purpose of the Health Tent, to meet the public and to share our rich health messages and precious truths in the hope of making contacts and winning souls. This last stage is to book individuals for various seminars according to their needs. The Health tent operates on the first Sunday of Every Summer Month. All are welcome to come and have a check up. It is very well supported by the Laudium community. Many people are regulars. People in Laudium never leave the tent without being told about our Church. We even have a family convert from the efforts of the health tent. They are now regular baptized members in our church and hold responsibilities. The health tent is our little share in Global Mission and spreading the good news. It is a non profit service and does not charge for its services but a donation is welcome. The project is run by the Laudium Seventh-day Adventist church. Individual members offer all the assistance they can-sometimes personal sacrifices-in order for this program to run.
