We Believe...The Laconia Seventh-day Adventist Church is part of a worldwide denomination. This organization includes many individual congregations which have certain beliefs in common. The foundation of these doctrines is the Bible. It is our pleasure to share the Good News found in the pages of this wonderful Book with our community. You will find links below that will take you to seven Bible studies. These are not exhaustive studies but an overview of our basic beliefs. The quotes from the Bible that you will see are taken from either the King James Version or the New International Version of the Bible. These two versions are direct translations of the original text, but the KJV uses old English and the NIV is presented in modern English. Both versions are good, and it is often helpful to compare them when doing personal Bible study. For your convenience the verses cited appear in the text of the study, but you encouraged to look them up in your own Bible to verify them and see them first hand. If you are not familiar with the Bible and would like help with any of the studies, please feel free to contact me. I'll be glad to assist you. As you go through these studies you will probably have questions. I'm always available to clarify and or go into more detail about any subject by phone or E-mail.
