Global Evangelism in Santa Clara
Santa Clara, Cuba

It was celebrated January 14 – 29, in many Adventist churches of Cuba. Here come about 100 people (preachers and supporting members) from different place such as United States, Dominicana, Ucrania, etc. In Santa Clara district, meetings were held Jan 15 – 22 in Camajuani Church, and 22 – 29 in Santa Clara itself, with attendance of more than 455 people, adults, youth and children. Sermons were in charge of pastor Dennis Nickel, and supporters Gail Biggers and his daughter Elizabeth, who had a children’s ministry. Pastor Dennis in his first visit to Cuba, has been envolved as a preacher in place like Thailand, Philippines, Africa, Mexico, Bahamas, in all Europe. At this moment he is minister in a district of Idaho, Usa. Sabbath 29 concluded the series in Santa Clara. Eleven precious souls were baptized and great number accepted the appeal, making decisions to a next baptism.

Pastor Dennis expressed: “The orientation was to divide the Series in Camajuani – Santa Clara. God blessed with many visitors. The Conference President, Luis Fajardo came in our first Sabbath, he seemed happy. Children had a very good program, by Elizabeth and Gail”.

Regarding to Santa Clara, he said: “Here we preached Sabbath to Sabbath, good attendance throughout. The church was full each night. Music was excellent, and Ananay was excellent in translating. She helped me in my sermons. Pastor took us on a tour of the town. People were always friendly and cooperative. God blessed Santa Clara church. I would like to come back for a future series”.

Pastor Carlos J. Madrigal, leader of personal Ministry of the Central Delegation, expressed: “The seed has been spread and we can see the fruits. For example, in Santo Domingo were baptized 17 people and more other are making decision.”

“Domingo Guzman, from Dominicana, who preached in Santo Domingo and Manacas, praised the Lord for these churches are ready and for the good acceptance.”

Being asked to Madrigal for the expectatives in the Central Delegation, he said: “Central Delegation has the purpose of closing 2005 with 800 people baptized, 800 souls for the Lord. That means a big number, but every Church has a high aim, for the grace of the Lord they can get it”

Global Evangelism in Cuban Union
Cuba

The series has given precious fruits in souls. When writing this new, the baptism gets the numbers of 250 in Western Delegation, 200 in Central and 300 in the Eastern.

Pastor José Alfonso, leader of Personal Ministry in Cuba Union, expressed: “These series has been very good. Just in Veguita de Galo, in Santiago de Cuba, attendant 500 visitors every night”. Among the plans and expectations of Cuban Union are a project of national retention; The Voice of Hope Evangelism in Guantanamo, Garrido and Havana with presentation of Junior Marchena; and “Vivangelismo Simposium” on Vivora Church next April.
