"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Romans 12:1, 2

A pastor's prayer response:

Dear Father in Heaven,

In the name of Jesus Christ, by the unction of the Holy Spirit, I confess my sins and seek your divine forgiveness. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

God, I offer myself, body, mind, soul, and spirit to You, as a living sacrifice.

Regenerate me into a new creation in Christ Jesus.

Deliver me from the bondage of self, that I may better serve Your purpose.

Take away my dysfunctions, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help in Your power, Your love, Your spirit, and Your way of life.

May Your love, acceptance, affirmation, and forgiveness flow through me into the lives of all I come in contact with.

Guide me in Your ways, words, and will, now and forever.

None has ever loved me as You do!

Do with me as You will.

Thank you, Father.

In the name, power, and shed blood of Jesus Christ. Amen.

From a seminar, "The Bounty of Boundaries," presented by Pastor Hal Gates, Founder/Director, SDAxA Regeneration Seminars.
