Someday

Oh, why, do tears be-dim the eye,
And why is death the mortals yoke?
Oh why do loved ones have to die,
And grief a loved one seem to choke?

Someday, we’ll know, why loved ones die,
And rest in silence o’re the bier,
Someday, we’ll know the reason why,
When God has dried the mourners tear.

Someday- we’ll know, God cannot lie,
And we shall see His lovely face.
Someday we’ll know why loved ones die
When we shall bask in heavens grace.

Yes, Jesus bore Gethsemane-
Our days are dark that here we spend-
Someday-yes, we will clearly see-
And someday, yes, we’ll comprehend.

Yes, all the truth someday we’ll find,
Beyond the time when mourners wail.
Someday we’ll know that God is kind
When God removes the smokey veil.
