Someday
Oh, why, do tears be-dim the eye,
And why is death the mortals yoke?
Oh why do loved ones have to die,
And grief a loved one seem to choke?
Someday, well know, why loved ones die,
And rest in silence ore the bier,
Someday, well know the reason why,
When God has dried the mourners tear.
Someday- well know, God cannot lie,
And we shall see His lovely face.
Someday well know why loved ones die
When we shall bask in heavens grace.
Yes, Jesus bore Gethsemane-
Our days are dark that here we spend-
Someday-yes, we will clearly see-
And someday, yes, well comprehend.
Yes, all the truth someday well find,
Beyond the time when mourners wail.
Someday well know that God is kind
When God removes the smokey veil.
