She Was Once A Queen

She was a lady queen-
Before the earth was bad,
Thought her hair to preen,
By trees all ivy clad.
A snake within the green!
A snake that talked was seen,
She was a lady queen
Before the earth was bad.

The serpent said God lied,
And God don’t love you much;
Come on and I’ll divide
This apple that I clutch.
You eat and then decide
The sweetness thats inside.
The serpent said God lied

Was not an evil there,
Where seeds of lies are sown?
An angel said beware,
But evil was not known.
The snakes then did not scare,
An apple was its fair,
Was not an evil there
Where seeds of lies are sown?

He placed it in her hand
And she began to doubt.
She looked and ate and, and,
This lover gad about,
In that fair wonderland
No husband could withstand,
She placed it in his hand,
And they began to doubt.

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Gen. 3:1
