The Review Of Sinners

Not just a human potentate,
Not just the one who made the earth;
But one who is a far more great
Who made and gave the heavens birth,
T’is He shall read each mortals face
And sit as judge and try your case.

Not just the things of nature small,
Not just the universe we see,
But God shall judge who rules them all
Before whom princes bend the knee.
He is the one our deeds do mark,
And sits as judge above the ark.
