God does not measure man with gold;
All moneys of this earth are His.
But what He wants that you should hold,
And what God values most is this;

Devoted love within the heart;
He cares not for this earths prestage
Nor how man fares in earths free mart.
But what is left, He makes the gauge.

Disciples wondered at Gods plan
"How shall a rich man enter in?"
So blind were they at gaudy man
So greedy for a purse to win.

T’was she, a widow, who gave all
She gave from out her frugal store,
But Jesus, though the gift was small,
Said that the widow cast in more.
