Events
- Children's Sabbath
- The first Sabbath in October 2005 was
set aside by the world church as a day for Children's Ministries.
We were blessed as the children in our church lead out in the
worship service. They all did a wonderful job!
- Vespers
- On 12 August 2005, we held a Friday evening vespers service
at the home of
Robert & Flavia. The kids had fun finding the
treasure (a watermelon), but only after they had the right map (like
our Bibles) to find it.
- Dinner by the Lake
- On June 25th,
David & Ruth
invited the church to their home for lunch after the Sabbath morning
worship service. It was a hot day (35°C), but it was
nice by the lake. The loons were out, but we didn't see any
of their babies. Thanks for having us, Ruth & David!
- Albert's
Wood
- This past spring, a number of people
got
together to help Albert & Frances get their wood under cover
for the coming winter. It was a cool day to work, but that
didn't stop some people from working up a sweat!
- Ice
Cave
- One afternoon this past winter saw a
group of
intrepid explorers hike into an ice cave off the Guthrie Road.
