If
you've never been to Hampton before, we're just a twenty minute drive
east of Saint John along Highway 1 (or the more scenic Route 100). The
town of Hampton is situated along the Kennebecasis River, which flows
into the St. John river just north of Saint John. If you know your way
around Hampton, we are located at 100 Dutch Point Road, which runs
along the Kennebecasis River. If not, here are some directions to get
you through Hampton.
From Highway One
-
Highway 1 is a four lane highway connecting Sussex and Saint John. Exit
158 leads into Hampton.
- From Saint John, take
exit 158 and make a left turn at the end of the offramp.
-
From Sussex, make a right turn at the end of the offramp.
You basically want to go down the hill on Hall Road.
(approximately 0.7 km) - At
the bottom of Hall Road, on the corner with Main Street, there is an
RCMP station. Turn right, passing in front of the RCMP station and the
post office.
- Follow straight along Main Street
until you come to an intersection with Esso and Irving gas stations,
and the courthouse. Turn left, passing between the courthouse and the
Esso station.
- Continue to follow Main Street, and
you will pass the Community Center, schools, and a Home Hardware.
- Just
past the Home Hardware, Main Street turns down a hill towards the
Kennebecasis River. There is a green steel bridge over this river. On
the way down this hill, there will be a Ranger (Forestry) Station on
the left, and Dutch Point Road is the next street on the right, 2.8 km
from the RCMP Station.
- Follow this road for 0.5 km,
and the church is at 100 Dutch Point Road, on the right.
