What are our dreams?

It is our dream to be known as a church where the members love God supremely and their fellow man/woman impartially.

It is our dream to enthusiastically and rightly represent the good news about who God is.  We covet as the highest of all commendations the words of God about Job: "He has said of Me what is right."

It is our dream to never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It is our dream to minister to the total person with programs designed to meet our physical, mental, social and spiritual needs from "the cradle to the grave."

It is our dream to have strong small groups.

It is our dream to have strong children's, youth, young adult, family, and singles' ministries.

It is our dream to equip every believer to accomplish their ministry by helpiong them to discover and use the talents and gifts God has given them.

It is our dream to double our membership every year.   In order for this to happen, it is only necessary for "each one to reach one."

It is our dream that when it comes time to build a wordhip center of our own, we want it to be large enough to seat 1,000 people.  We want ancillary facilities to include a prayer tower (a place dedicated to prayer), classrooms, kitchen & fellowship area, community service rooms, and health and recreation areas for exercise classes as well as raquetball, volleyball and basketball courts.

It is our dream that anyone who looks at what Good News Fellowship accomplishes over the years will not stand back and say, "Look what they have done."  Instead, we want their response to be, "This can only be by God's grace and for His glory!"

What are our core values?

  1. Our highest priority is to proclaim the good news
    about who God is as most clearly revealed by
    Jesus Christ.
  2. We endeavor to model Christ’s love, acceptance, and forgiveness in our Christian fellowship.
  3. Worship needs to be a positive, heartfelt experience where one can sense the empowering presence of God through prayer, praise, and study of God’s Word. 
  4. We encourage a believer’s personal devotion and study of God’s Word.
  5. Every member is a minister and we value the
    discovery and use of their Spirit given gifts. 
  6. We value a simple presentation of Jesus Christ in
    creative ways to impact lives.
  7. Success will nor be a result of our might or power, but it will be through the works of the Spirit.
  8. When it comes to doctrine or teaching, the Bible—and the Bible alone—is our creed. 
  9. We value doing our best for God and embracing a growing spirit of excellence.
